Valley Mission is a non-profit organization offering shelter, support, hope and God's love to the homeless. Basic needs of shelter, food, clothing and spiritual encouragement are provided to all. There are two thrift shops operated by the Valley Mission in Staunton and Waynesboro. The thrift shops provide assistance to those in the community needing help with clothing, household items and furniture through the thrift store. Vouchers are available for the thrift store for those unable to afford to buy needed items. Inside each store you can find clothing, furniture, housewares, electronics, appliances, and much more for a great price. And there are daily specials where you can save even more! Thrift store created a way for the community to recycle their clothing and wares. DDC will provide vouchers to the Dungannon Thrift Store for those who have been plagued with the devastating tragedies of loss to their home due to Fire or Flooding. Mercy Mall is a ministry providing free clothing, shoes, baby items, housewares, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to individuals and families experiencing crisis situations. A crisis may include, but not limited to, recent or current homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse recovery, bed bug/mold infestation recovery, house fire, or anything that causes a person to not have necessary items for themselves and their families.

The ALIVE! Housewares Program collects and distributes donated items in good condition to people in their first home, transitioning from homelessness, or unable to afford basic household items. Items include gently used basic household items, such as bedding, towels, small rugs, appliances, cutlery and dishes, and pots and pans. Referrals required.

Helps to meet basic needs of the Elkton community. The thrift store is open to all shoppers. Items for sale include clothing, furniture, small and large appliances, fans, air conditioners, bedding/linen and household goods. In store voucher available for those who qualify for assistance. Thrift store proceeds fund Elkton Area United Services programs. ACCESSIBILITY: Partially accessible to persons with disabilities.
Noah's Ark Thrift Store sells quality used items at reasonable prices. The store has a mixture of clothing, household items, children toys, televisions, VHS tapes & CD's. We accept washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves and other household items as donations. A Tax Receipt is gladly given for donations. Newer furniture is donated by housing developers and builders who donate from their model homes after they are sold. Many community individuals use Noah's Ark Thrift Store to obtain business attire for job interviews, rugged clothing for outdoor labor jobs, prom dresses and toddler clothing. It provides everything you would need for your home.
