To receive assistance, recipients must be referred by the Alexandria Office of Community Services 703-746-5700, an ALIVE! member congregation, or another social service agency.

The ALIVE! Housewares Program collects and distributes donated items in good condition to people in their first home, transitioning from homelessness, or unable to afford basic household items. Items include gently used basic household items, such as bedding, towels, small rugs, appliances, cutlery and dishes, and pots and pans. Referrals required.
