Food Pantries
Every week, we offer food to any of our neighbors who need it. The amount of food you receive is based on the size of your family. You do not need identification to receive food. It takes about 30 volunteers each week to make the Food Pantry happen. Buy and pick up food from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank each Monday at 8 am in order to provide enough food for each Monday afternoon distribution. Rely on special monetary donations (marked Food Pantry) in order to pay for the food at the Food Bank or on food donations in the basket in the gathering space.
Provides daily food bags, Tuesdays-Thursday 11:00-12:00 and 1:00-2:30 while supplies last. As well as Monthly Food boxes upon approval, on Wednesday and Thursday 2:30-3:30. As well as a hot meal is served on Mondays and Fridays from 12:00-1:00pm.
This program provides food to low-income Goochland residents who need food resources.

Provides a food basket program for underserved residents. Food is collected from donor and/or purchased from local food stores, and distributed to qualifying families.
Client can choose up to 10 items per visit. Clients are served every Monday. Clients must display a genuine need and be willing to take the time to discuss the immediate as well as the long-range need. Emergency need only.
