SBA provides low interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery & equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster. Serving 92 counties in Virginia, excluding Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun counties and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church.

Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation, Inc. foster advocacy and secure financial support above and beyond public revenues to encourage innovative educational opportunities for the students, faculty and schools.

Provides financial assistance for child care to income-eligible applicants.

The Virginia Initiative for Employment not Welfare program emphasizes personal responsibility. VIEW participants may be provided with services such as job skills training, work experience, job readiness training, child care assistance, transportation and other work related expenses.

CARITAS Works provides intensive, innovative and life transforming career preparation and job placement services to motivated individuals referred by Richmond's homeless services system. Offers 5-week all-day training that focuses on career development and job readiness begins with classes in basic computer skills, resume writing, interviewing techniques and professional networking.

Offers after-school programs at Waddell Elementary School & Central Elementary. Children at Mountain View Elementary are bussed to Central Elementary for the after-school program there. Provides pre-move and post move assistance, overseas briefing, welcome packets (electronic and hard copy), assist with lending limited household goods from our lending closet, resource library. Computerized data base, SITES, provides printouts of on and off post information.

This program offers case management and support services to Loudoun County residents who are or have been, within the last 12 months, recipients of TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). The Sheriff's Office provide all citizens with protection for their lives and property and to develop community responsibility directed at the prevention of crime and social disorder and enhancing safety through problem solving tactics.

Hosts a senior citizens lunch site. Provides nutritional lunches, programs and activities, health screenings, and more to residents over the age of 60. Food is provided by District Three.

Provides full assortment of career planning services to job seekers, a wide range of value-added services to employers and provides youth service programs. To develop and implement local workforce strategies through the collaborative efforts of local businesses, elected officials and state agencies/programs that encourage economic growth through maximum employment and full utilization of workforce skills, experience and expertise. To design and implement an effective, flexible, results-oriented workforce development system which will 1) provide a systematic approach to identifying employers' needs and current and prospective employees' capabilities, 2) meet the needs of our customers, 3) provide continuous feedback for improving the system, and 4) leverage available resources to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of workforce development activities and services.

Receives donated food from companies, grocery stores, food drives, and other sources. The food is distributed through 27 agencies including emergency food pantries, Mobile Pantries and Backpack Programs

Hospice care provides comfort and support for terminally ill patients and their families, focusing on symptom management and improving quality of life, not on curing the illness

Provide medical care for public assistance recipients and medically needy persons (i.e. persons of low income who can meet their maintenance needs but have insufficient income to provide the cost of medical care).
