The Migrant Program is especially designed to provide continuity in the child's education. The program is held for six weeks during the summer and provides essential learning skills, food, and medical care for the children of migrant workers. Sessions of arts, crafts, and vocational instruction are offered, dependent upon funding. The children are given 3 meals a day as well as the opportunity to bathe and brush their teeth. There is a bilingual program for those students whose first language is Spanish or French Creole (Haitian).
