Representative Payee Program provides financial management for people with disabilities who are not competent to manage their own funds. By paying bills and ensuring sufficient money to last throughout the month, we protect vulnerable people from being financially exploited and from becoming homeless.
LEGAL CUSTODIAN PROGRAM FOR VETERANS
The Legal Custodians program provides financial management for veterans with disabilities. The program permits The Up Center to become a veteran's custodian, allowing the agency to manage benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs if certain conditions are met.
SPECIAL NEEDS TRUST
The Up Center's Special Needs Trust program enables people with disabilities to receive the greatest possible benefit from financial settlements, financial gifts and other awards of money and assets without jeopardizing any public benefits and services to which they are entitled. People also use the Trust for money management and budgeting purposes.
