The Virginia Lifespan Respite Voucher Program (VLRVP) provides reimbursement vouchers up to $595 to Virginia caregivers for the cost of temporary, short-term respite care provided to individuals, of any age, with a documented severe disability or medical condition. Priority will be given to assisting rural caregivers, male caregivers, LGBTQ caregivers, Indigenous/Native caregivers and caregivers of people with dementia. Respite is short-term temporary care provided to someone with a disability, severe medical condition or special needs to temporarily relieve a family caregiver from that responsibility so they can rest, recharge and attend to their own care needs. Respite care can be for different periods of time, from a few hours to days or weeks.

Provides an international service oriented civic club with emphasis on sight/hearing conservation, drug awareness and diabetes awareness. Offers assistive devices, such as glasses and hearing aids, to sight and hearing impaired persons who meet set financial criteria. The Espigh Family Shelter is a 35-bed facility that provides temporary housing for single adult women and families of any composition. Provides pregnancy testing, prenatal care and routine well child care. All required childhood immunizations are free. Other women's health services include birth control, pap smears, breast and annual exams. Car seats are available for Medicaid-eligible infants and children.
