CVACL's Education and Nutrition Sites provide hot, nutritionally balanced meals for older adults in a local group setting. Meetings include educational presentations and discussions, health screenings, adapted exercise sessions, recreational activities, artistic and cultural programming, and social events. Van transportation is provided for participants needing assistance traveling to and from the site or its events, as well as for occasional group trips to grocery stores, pharmacies, and local shopping. As part of CVACL's "wraparound" services, each site member is assigned a Care Manager to provide needs assessments, referrals, and follow-up.
