A residential program for women who need structure and professional support in order to build sustained and long-term sobriety. Referrals for admission are accepted from health care providers, therapists, family, AA/NA sponsors, treatment centers and others concerned. Self-referrals also are accepted.

Deputies assigned to Jail Security and Jail Services maintain the safety and order of the facility. Deputies provide security to the community by preventing jail disturbances or escapes. Jail East is facility that features training and rehabilitation by offering a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services as well as educational and vocational training. Classes, programs and services are provided to assist the inmates to achieve their educational and vocational goals upon their release.

The Summer Meals for Kids (SM4K) Program provides children and teens ( up to age 18) nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and suppers during the summer months.

Provides supplemental payment to licensed Homes for Adults and Assisted Living Facilities that will accept the state approved rate. Client keeps a small monthly allowance for personal needs, and the rest of their monthly income is applied to the State approved rate. The Auxiliary Grant pays the balance of the approved rate to the provider.

Offers adult immunizations for disease prevention and foreign travel. They are available at each office. Immunizations included are for influenza, pneumonia, and whooping cough, etc. Provides children's immunizations. The Virginia Vaccines For Children Program provides the vaccines necessary for children from birth to 18 years of age to protect against childhood illnesses. Those required for children entering school for the first time are free. Fees for other vaccines are based on a sliding scale for eligible children.
