Proceeds benefit all YWCA Programs, and women can have a beautiful wedding dress at a fraction of the typical cost. Also sell veils, shoes and other accessories. Lynchburg Fire Department houses the City's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Department members provide command and control support through the EOC to on-scene incident command during disaster situations. Department members also oversee the City's Emergency Operations Plan and provide the community with risk assessments and emergency preparedness information to help mitigate disasters that may occur in the future.

Provides independent living apartments and assisted living services without changing residence. Offers on site rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Includes meals, weekly housekeeping,activities, lounges, and more. Free transportation available for residents to physician appointments, shopping and other personal appointments. Licensed by the State of Virginia to provide Assisted Living Services. Offers 24-hour on site licensed nurses who provide medication management, assistance with bathing, dressing and other personal services. Assisted Living Services are provided in the same apartment as the independent living services are offered.

Provides rent assistance to residents of Richmond City and Henrico County. Rent must be 1-month overdue, late fees and other fees must be paid prior to funds being released. Do not assist with rent deposit nor move in expenses or hotel fees.

The Homeless Information Line (HIL) is the link to services for those who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless in the next 14 days. Callers leave a message and will receive a call back within 3 business days. The callback will review their circumstances, provide links to resources, and if they may be eligible for back rent or need assistance with a security deposit/first month rent to leave homelessness, they are referred for an eligibility screening, which determines if they can be referred for help from the Haven's housing programs. Those who are not eligible for Haven funds are referred to other resources in the region specific to their needs.

Maintains legal records such as deeds, wills, lawsuits, marriage licenses, etc. Charges minimal fees, set by the State, for processing these records. Copies of documents are also available for a fee.

Provides a books-by-mail program for home-bound patrons who have a long-term, short-term or age related disability that makes library access difficult. The library will mail books and audio books free of charge to those qualifying patrons living in the library's service area. Items check out for 28 days.
