At Strategic, our clinical staff is prepared to address the difficulties which challenge those with mental health problems. Designed to prevent institutionalization and repetitive inpatient stays, mental health support services work closely with the client, forming a service plan which address unique needs and personal goals. Problem areas are targeted and addresses. New skills are taught, enabling a higher functioning lifestyle. The client's counselor will work with him in his home as well as in the community.

The purpose of Chesterfield Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court is to provide an independent forum to: (1) resolve juvenile and domestic relations disputes and other legal matters in a fair, efficient, and effective manner; and (2) protect the rights of all parties before the Court pursuant to the laws of Virginia and the Constitutions of Virginia and the United States. The Court will advance the best interests of youth and families; and serve and protect the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia, by holding individuals accountable for their actions.

Offering a wide range of services tailored to each individual need. Services include Early Intervention Services, Residential Services, Support Coordination. Some services require a waiver. Through a "waiver" individuals may receive certain services (such as residential supports, nursing supports, employment supports) while living in the community, rather than in an institutional setting.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist can provide training to persons who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and their families and training to businesses, nonprofits, and professionals that serve persons who have a hearing loss. Responds to request for information and referrals on niche topics related to hearing loss including, but not limited to, where to find sign language classes, support services, assistive technology, and more. Specialist promote public awareness about services via exhibits at local-regional events. Specialist assist clients with their telecommunication needs including applications, assessments, installation, training and troubleshooting specialized telecommunication equipment.

Provides electronic benefits that can be used like cash to buy food at any store that has a sign displaying the Virginia Electronic Benefits Card or the Quest sign. Each eligible household will receive a card that may be used like a bank debit card to purchase eligible food items from your account.

St. Anne's Episcopal Church assist between 50 to 90 families depending on the time of the year. Food is both purchased and donated, being distributed on the fourth Saturday of the month unless there is a holiday and then it is distributed on the third Saturday.

KidMed provides after-hours care for ill and injured children, teens, and young adults, ages newborn to 25, at times when their pediatrician is unavailable. The office is open evenings, weekends and holidays, 365 days a year. Provides employment opportunities to people who participate in the TANF program. The employment services program allows people to achieve economic independence by removing work barriers; obtain work skills necessary for self-sufficiency; contribute materially to their own self-sufficiency; and obtain work experience.

Provides help to strengthen individuals and families, helping them to cope with the stresses of life, by providing education, counseling and advocacy. Juvenile delinquency cases are cases involving a minor under the age of 18 who has been accused of committing an offense that would be considered criminal if committed by an adult. Other juvenile offenses may be referred to as status offenses. Status offenses are those acts that are unlawful only because they are committed by a minor. In addition, this court handles other matters involving the family such as custody, support and visitation. The court also hears family abuse cases, cases where adults have been accused of child abuse or neglect, and criminal cases where the defendant and alleged victim are family or household members.
