The BabyCare program is a home-based program that fosters safe and healthy pregnancies and healthy babies by providing free education, care coordination, and support services from registered nurses to high-risk pregnant people and infants up to 24 months of age.

ReStore is a resale business that sells new and used building materials and home improvement items to the general public. All materials are donated by local retail businesses, building contractors, suppliers and individuals, and are made available for sale to the public at 50% to 90% below retail prices.

In partnership with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and Henrico County, the Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) at St. Joseph’s Villa provides immediate help for youth in need of emergency behavioral health care, and their families. Youth may stay at the CRC for up to 23 hours, during which time they are directly linked to the next appropriate level of care. The transition of care is a collaborative process. Our multidisciplinary team of nurses, clinicians, and mental health professionals actively connect youth and families to community-based services for follow-up treatment, and ensure a warm handoff by scheduling appointments, communicating closely with service providers, and tailoring referrals based on the individual’s and family’s specific needs and location. All youth leave with a personalized Safety Plan, linkages to their local Community Services Board (CSB), and referrals that may include outpatient counseling, therapy centers, Villa in-home services, or the Villa’s nearby Crisis Stabilization Unit. The CRC at St. Joseph's Villa is the first youth-specific facility of its kind in Virginia, offering a specialized alternative to hospital emergency departments and reduced waiting periods for service.

A helpline for adults who are residents of the State of Virginia and would like to talk about their opioid use. Offer individualized information, resources and referrals to treatment in the local area. aAlso offer audio recordings with mindfulness and meditation exercises to help manage any pain issues related to opioid use. Not meant to replace any counseling or therapy you may currently be using but can offer additional assistance. Anyone with questions is welcome to call for information. All consultations are completely confidential and provided at no cost.

Offers a civic club that helps low income individuals obtain eye exams, prescription glasses and hearing aids.

Provides healthcare services to the uninsured, underinsured, and disenfranchised in the mountains of Appalachia in Southwest Virginia via a mobile health clinic. Services include physical assessments, laboratory services, immunization programs, screening services (such as pap tests), well-child care, routine care for the acute and chronically ill, home health visitation, pharmaceutical indigent access program, tele-medicine, health teaching components, referrals, specialty clinics, annual health fairs and a massive regional health care outreach (Remote Area Medical).

Providing education & resources to the Dialysis Patient Community. A nationwide, non-profit, patient-led dialysis organization with membership open only to dialysis and pre-dialysis patients and their families.

Provides direct services to victims and witnesses of crime. Sheltering Arms offers a broad array of outpatient physician and therapy services. A physician referral is required for most outpatient clinical services and most services are covered by insurance.

Provides wheelchair van services for physically challenged clients who require transportation to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and other outpatient medical care. Emergency Services is a 24-hour crisis intervention program that provides consultation services and assessment of individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues. The program is staffed by certified pre-screeners as mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

SBA provides low interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery & equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster. Vouchers cover a portion of the monthly rent for privately-owned apartments or homes.

Through the Groceries to Go Program, screened volunteers deliver groceries to seniors every two weeks. Groceries are ordered based off the grocery recipient's personal shopping list. Volunteers call program recipients to get their individual orders. There are no minimum order requirements and no delivery fee.
