The National Down Syndrome Congress is to provide information, advocacy, and support concerning all aspects of life for individuals with Down syndrome.

Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides free services to qualified participants with accessing post secondary educational opportunities. Services include GED enrollment assistance, test preparation, academic and career counseling, college admissions and financial aid application assistance.

Community Food Pantry for Fredericksburg and surrounding counties. Offer resource referrals for other needs as well as computers for completing applications , resumes and other needed forms. The Center partner with many local businesses who donate food resources as well as the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and Goodwill industries.

Aspires to promote positive mental health and offer not just education, but the support and compassion needed to make real and lasting changes in the lives of those we serve. Offers books, periodicals, audio and video tapes, maps, and electronic resources. Offers an Interlibrary loan services, meeting rooms, and provides library tours. Promotes reading readiness and a sense of delight in the written and spoken word. Supports education efforts. Provides current, accurate, reliable information, with a special emphasis on children and parents, business and local government, students of all ages, and the community at large. Children's program are provided during the school year for toddlers through 5th graders. The annual summer reading program serves children, 3 years old through 5th grade.

The Ruth E. Lloyd Information Center (RELIC) is a special collection devoted to genealogy and local history with a focus on Virginia and Prince William County. Located at Central Library, RELIC is staffed the same hours as the rest of the library. Staff are trained to help customers locate information needed to trace their family history and to research persons, places and events associated with local history. The American Revolution and the Civil War as they relate to Virginia are of special interest.

Provides Goochland County residents with appropriate contacts at other agencies/organizations to meet their needs.

Public Library

Virginia GrandDriver is an educational resource designed to provide Virginians with information and resources about staying safe and mobile on the road as they age. The program gives older Virginians and their families suggestions to improve driving skills and keep everyone on the road safe.

The Special Services Library offers library materials and services for individuals who are blind and physically handicapped, including talking books and Braille materials.

Provides contact information and military and civilian resources to Soldiers and their Family members to address a wide range of client requests. I&R also provides client referral services to the appropriate agency or organization, who can assist with a variety of issues and more immediate needs.
