Also offers The TALK Helpline (434) 924-8255 is available 24 hours (September 9-May 10) annually. This is a student-run, student-operated program, staffed entirely of volunteers, affiliated with Madison House. Strives to provide callers with an emphatic ear for any sort of issue they wish to discuss. While HELP LINE volunteers complete a training program, we are not professionals, and so we focus on finding long-term services in the community for our callers, such as counseling services, medical services, drug treatment programs, and the like.
