The Partnership has two main work activities: Business Attraction & Regional Marketing: The Partnership's business attraction efforts extend from North America to Europe and Asia. Direct marketing activities include trade shows, professional conferences, marketing missions, seminars, special events, and individual sales calls to qualified prospects. Business Retention & Expansion: BusinessFirst Greater Richmond is a collaborative effort between the Partnership and our four local government partners that focuses resources, services and support on companies that already call the area home.

A private sector, nonprofit downtown development organization dedicated to making the downtown area a unique and successful place to work, live, invest, and play. DRI is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of 20 members representing retail, restaurant, professional, industrial businesses, and property owners in downtown Roanoke and the Roanoke region of Virginia.
