Treatment, detoxification, medication-assisted treatment and recovery supports for people with substance use disorders, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT).

Project LINK, funded in partnership with Planning District One, is an outpatient program for pregnant, substance-abusing women or mothers with dependent children in Lee, Scott, Wise counties and the city of Norton, Va., provides substance abuse treatment, individual, family, and group counseling, daily life skills groups, therapeutic recreation activities, case management and family involvement.

Henrico Area Mental Health and Developmental Services provide substance abuse education and group treatment.

Conducts initial screening for services and offers intensive outpatient group and individual alcohol/drug therapy for up to 365 days as well as referrals for inpatient treatment when applicable. Therapeutic Substance Use Outpatient Treatment Services are designed to address the disease of addiction and related behavioral concerns that individuals experience throughout their lifetime. Horizon offers specialized program options for clients across the lifespan and their families, as early as age two. Offer community-based outpatient treatment options and residential recovery services to meet the individual needs of the client. Peer Recovery Support Specialists are embedded in our substance use disorder treatment programming. Peers are individuals with lived substance use and/or mental health experience who serve as role models, advocates, and support to those in treatment. Peers encourage pro-social behaviors and activities and assist clients with linkages to recovery resources. Peer support is essential to living with the disease of addiction, so we offer individual and group counseling sessions facilitated by Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) who have completed their peer certification. RBHA provides Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment.

The Intensive Outpatient Program is for individuals who need a greater level of support to maintain substance recovery. IOP can be the first step individuals takes toward recovery or can be used as a support for individuals following a course inpatient substance use treatment. IOP at CBH is an ASAM 2.1 level of care and a co-occurring capable program, meaning treating both mental health and substance use.

The Master Center is a physician-led addiction treatment program. Offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to every individual. The goal is to make addiction treatment accessible, understandable, and affordable.

Outpatient Services provides therapy and medication management, if needed, for substance use for individuals in Goochland and Powhatan counties. Coordinate and link individuals with services both within the agency and in the community. Substance use services more intensive than outpatient are accessed by referral. Pregnant and/or parenting women using substances and individuals using opiates of any kind receive priority in accessing services.
