A program of NRVCS Adult and Family Services. Provides what an individual would get in terms of education and therapy from a traditional residential substance abuse program while allowing the person to stay at home and continue with his or her regular job. The group meets three nights each week for ten weeks. Each night's session is for 3 hours. The maximum number for each group is 12 people. The group is open-ended so that people can join during any part of the ten-week cycle and gain full benefit. Individual counseling is a concurrent requirement.

Supportive services are provided to help the family build skills for coping with the individual's disorder. These services must include individual and family sessions by a Licensed Mental Health Professional, behavior management, problem-solving, communications, self-help, activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, skills acquisition, and independent living skills for the individual, and parenting skills are often included.
Crisis response is an integral part of in-home services. Services may also include assistance in household management, as related to effective services for the individual. All of the services are flexible and tailored to each individual's needs and all must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services have a holistic approach and involve working in collaboration with the community to access and coordinate a full range of supports and services.
