Promotes and enhances independent living of adults aged 60 and older by stabilizing their mental illness or emotional disturbance. The program uses a multi-disciplinary approach to psychiatric treatment and includes comprehensive assessments, medication services, psychotherapy, case coordination, outreach and consultation. Home-based services are available.

Service Coordination provides case management for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and can explain the benefits and resources available through Mental Health Support Services or community partners, including housing, employment, day services, behavioral support, assistive technology and other supports and how to access them.

An early intervention program, CHIP addresses the unique mental health risks children and families in poverty face, through in-home family support and parenting education that helps lessen the detrimental effects of poverty. Developmental Disabilities (DD) Support Coordination provides individuals and families with the resources and support they need to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives in their communities. Support Coordinators are CSB staff who help individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities identify their strengths, needs, and preferences through person-centered planning so they can get the right help that is needed. The primary activities of the program are as follows: Identifying and reaching out to potential consumers assessing needs and planning services; Linking the individual to services and supports; Assisting the person directly to locate, develop, or obtain needed services and resources; Coordinating services with other Community Services Boards; Enhancing community integration; Making collateral contacts; Monitoring service delivery; Advocating for individuals in response to their changing needs; and Assuring service authorization of Medicaid Waiver services

Assesses the consumer's needs for housing, medical care, employment, etc. and seeks to help the individual obtain these resources. This approach is long term and indefinite, with efforts prioritized to those at risk of rehospitalization. Case management services include hospital liaison and discharge planning. Maintains responsibility for the consumer as the person enters the psychiatric hospital and while an inpatient, the case manager works with the family, inpatient staff and community services board programs to insure an effective plan to return to the community.

Outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for children, adolescents and adults are provided at Scott County Mental Health Center. Services include individual and group psychotherapy, marital and family counseling, psychiatric services, medication monitoring, crisis services, intensive in-home services, and education and consultation services. Project LINK, an outpatient program for pregnant, substance-abusing women or mothers with dependent children, is also offered at this site. In-Home Services, Home-based family-focused services are provided for children from birth to 17 with emotional difficulties, returning from placement, or who are at risk of out-of-home placement or other services. FOOTHOLDS works one on one with children and their families to build a healthy family environment. The program helps identify obstacles, increase communication skills, structure positive home, social skills development; provides support, guidance and links to resources; and educates caregivers. Service in Scott County is provided in partnership with Planning District One Behavioral Health Services.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services provides assistance to individuals recovering from mental illness through case management, supported living, intensive community treatment, and a "clubhouse" program. For routine Intakes, individuals are encouraged to call the main telephone number and request an Intake and Assessment.

Formerly known as Regional Childhood Development, Children birth to 3 years old in Lee, Scott, Wise counties and the City of Norton found to have developmental delays and/or disabilities are eligible for early intervention services including case management, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and special instruction. Early Intervention is an Infant & Toddler Connection of DILENOWISCO program.
