Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

24-bed and 12-bed units provide 24/7 supervised mental health treatment and crisis support for adults ages 18+ experiencing a wide range of concerns, including co-occurring issues when mental health disorders are accompanied by substance use. Same Day Assessment, mental health and substance use treatment, outpatient therapy, case management, emergency services, school-based services, supportive housing, community based treatment, prevention education, early intervention, and aftercare services, for ersons affected by mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance use and co-occurring disrders. Free Hepatitis B & Hepatitis C testing is also available.

Provides phone and face-to-face intervention which includes crisis intervention; pre-screening for hospitalization; working with the legal, judicial, healthcare and other referral sources; and securing inpatient beds or alternative services.

Early Intervention services seek to intervene or reduce the incidence of mental illness and intellectual disabilities by enhancing protective factors for at-risk children and their families At-risk populations can access specialized services that offer positive behavioral skills training, counseling, education, tutoring, support and enrichment programs through contracts with Child Development Resources (CDR) and Infant and Toddler Connection.

An evidenced based depression program for older adults with chronic conditions and functional limitations. The program includes screening and assessment of depressive symptoms, education about depression and self-care for individuals and family caregivers, including referrals to the appropriate health professionals.

Provides evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents who are suppected of having attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders including dyslexia and dyscalculia, autism spectrum disorders, and/or emotional/behavioral disorders including those characterized by mood dysregulation, anxiety and disruptive behaviors.

Crisis Stabilization provides individualized crisis services on an outpatient basis. Resources and natural support systems are mobilized during the crisis episode in an effort to avert unnecessary psychiatric hospitalization and assist the participant in remaining in the community

The Bradley Free Clinic serves low-income, uninsured, and underinsured, residents of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. The Behavioral Health Department provides counseling, psychiatry, medication management, substance use and community health services.

Provide face to face or telephone response to individuals and families experiencing crisis, or to an involved party who is concerned about the person in crisis. Individuals seeking mental health and/or substance use services may walk into the Manassas or Woodbridge clinic and obtain a mental health and substance use assessment the same day. No appointment is required. Assessment services are provided on a first come, first served basis.

RESPOND will provide the reassurance you need to cope with your concerns, whether for yourself or a loved one. Offers free psychiatric assessments, referrals, and admissions. Offers a variety of treatment options for alcohol and drug addiction, depression, anxiety, and a host of other issues. Special programs for adults, adolescents, and children, and treatment is always provided in a confidential and comforting environment. RESPOND assessments are also available through Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg and Pulaski Community Hospital.
