Provide FREE crisis services to victims of sexual assault (both children and adults), their family members, friends, dating partners, and anyone else seeking services, related to overcoming sexual violence. Services include Crisis line, Crisis Counseling, Advocacy, Support Groups, and Community Trainings.

Crisis Intervention Crisis services offered to children and adolescents who are at risk of entering the hospital or have marked reduction in their psychiatric, adaptive, or behavioral functioning, or an extreme increase in personal distress. Crisis Intervention provides up to 30 days of short-term counseling intended to prevent exacerbation of the condition and provide treatment in the least restrictive setting. CONNECT is a 24-hour, confidential, referral and assessment service staffed by psychiatric nurses and clinical social workers. These teams are trained to help people needing psychiatric and behavioral medicine support. 1. CONNECT services begin with one toll-free phone call to (800) 284-8898, for an initial assessment. 2. A counselor meets and talks with individuals privately and at length to learn more about their difficulties. Therapy or treatment does not occur at this times simply a way to assess the situation. When necessary, CONNECT will contact a psychiatrist to admit to the hospital. * CONNECT can perform assessments at a physician's office, emergency room or other location that is convenient and safe for the individual, when needed. * CONNECT accepts referrals from physicians. Offers outpatient mental health services for adults age 18+ which include crisis intervention, case management, medication monitoring, re-socialization, early intervention, community and in-home mental health support services.

Provides behavioral healthcare for children and their families by leading and supporting statewide efforts to establish and strengthen a comprehensive system of care for children and families; and building and participating in collaborative partnerships among families and child service providers across agencies and disciplines.

Chesterfield Emergency Mental Health Services assist individuals who are having serious, life-threatening mental-health problems. Immediate attention is given to problem-solving, safety planning and assessing risk factors. Emergency Services also provide information and recommendations to callers on how to de-escalate crisis situations. As needed, Emergency Services may also refer individuals to other agencies or community services for additional support.

The Loudoun County MHSADS Sterling Clinic provides diagnostic and treatment services for Loudoun community members who are experiencing a mental health or substance use related issue. Services include assessment, referral and resource information, mental health and substance use treatment and psychiatric services.
