Offers programs for at-risk youth which include Project Safe Place and the Runaway Shelter. Link House is for adolescent females ages 12 to 18 in state custody. Youth may be delinquent, unruly, or dependent and neglected. Also, Link House offers Oasis @ Link House Residential observation and assessment program for court-ordered adolescent females ages 12 to 17. This 30-45 day program provides comprehensive assessment of the youth to determine treatment needs, which assists the courts with placement decisions. Services include Individual, Group & Family Counseling; Daily Life Skills Groups; Therapeutic Recreational Activities; Case Management; and Family Involvement. Link House also provides Project Safe Place Phone: 877-288-1828, providing temporary, emergency shelter and counseling to youth who are runaways, throw-aways, or are escaping unresolved family conflicts. This nationwide program is the only one of its kind within a 100-mile radius where youth can seek 72-hour sanctuary. The goal of the program is to intervene quickly, and assist the youth and their family with reunification. As an outreach of Link House, Runaway Program & Project Safe Place offers emergency shelter and crisis intervention services for runaway, homeless, and throw-away youth and seeks to educate youth to access services through Link House instead of running away and possibly facing uncertain dangers on the streets.
