James House offer facilitated groups for all ages and genders which allow participants to support each other during recovery from sexual violence, domestic violence or stalking. Support groups are facilitated by experienced James House staff members and highly trained volunteers.

Offers support to Alexandria residents who are victims of sexual assault and their families and friends. The YWCA Sexual Assault Response Program (SARP) facilitates several community support groups for victims of sexual violence and their families. Offerings include groups that are available for parents of the abused child, teens who have experienced sexual abuse, and adult victims of sexual assault.
