Safe Harbor is dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence. Safe Harbor provides individual and group counseling for survivors. Spanish-Speaking support groups are also available.

Avalon's Youth Services program offers prevention, education, counseling, support groups and advocacy for children and youth who are victims or witnesses to domestic or sexual violence, dating violence, bullying, stalking or who have experienced trauma.

Crisis Intervention Crisis services offered to children and adolescents who are at risk of entering the hospital or have marked reduction in their psychiatric, adaptive, or behavioral functioning, or an extreme increase in personal distress. Crisis Intervention provides up to 30 days of short-term counseling intended to prevent exacerbation of the condition and provide treatment in the least restrictive setting. Provides prevention and intervention services to adult and child victims of domestic and sexual violence. Offers emergency shelter for those in imminent danger/homeless. Provides community education services to increase the community's awareness of family/interpersonal violence and how to respond. Offers individual and group therapy for those impacted by the trauma of violence.

Counseling for people impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, stalking or child abuse/neglect.

Offers victims of domestic and sexual violence a 24 Hour Crisis Hotline, Counseling for victims, survivors, and their non-abusing families and friends, Court Advocacy, Education, a Resource Library, Support Groups and Lisa's House, a temporary shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. The Sexual & Domestic Violence program provides solution-focused trauma-informed individual counseling and groups, hospital accompaniment, legal referral and accompaniment and a 24-hour hotline. Counselors meet with clients in our downtown office or at various locations in the Richmond Metro area and Chesterfield.

Safe Harbor's Child Trauma Intervention Program provides support and education related to domestic and sexual violence and their impact on children/youth 12 and up. Supportive services are also offered to those experiencing dating violence.

Ayuda Social Services provides trauma-informed, holistic case management, culturally specific counseling, and emotional accompaniment and advocacy to survivors of crime who live in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Our services are provided in multiple languages All social services and programs are voluntary and at no cost Social services participation does not require a legal case with Ayuda

Provides direct outpatient counseling to children who have been victims of abuse as well as to their non-offending family members. Our counselors help children to cope with the trauma of abuse and/or family violence. Families learn to strengthen safety measures to prevent the re-occurrence of trauma. In addition, Youth Counseling Program provides community education and training on issues of child physical and sexual abuse as needed. Children may be referred to the program by social services agencies, police, courts, and concerned individuals, including family members. All services are provided free of charge.

ChildSavers Immediate Response team provides 24/7 immediate response and crisis intervention services for children and adolescents witnessing trauma and/or are in crisis.

The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) program provides a safe place where kids and teenagers talk about things that have happened to them. The CAC brings together a Multi-Disciplinary Team of police, social workers, therapists, medical teams, advocates and lawyers to investigate reports of abuse or crimes against kids.

Offers a state certified Batterers Intervention Program. Provides domestic violence risk assessment and treatment. Offers an anger management program.

ADAPT is Domestic and Sexual Violence Services' 18-week state-certified domestic violence intervention program that utilizes a compassionate approach. ADAPT teaches emotional regulation skills to adult residents of Fairfax County and the cities of Falls Church and Fairfax who have been physically, emotionally, or sexually abusive to a spouse, partner, child, parent or other family member.

12 week therapy group for male Veterans of any era or service who have used aggression against an intimate partner (girlfriend or spouse). This program is not appropriate for those seeking basic anger management.

Provides advocacy and counseling services for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

Provides individual, couple and family therapy, adoption evaluation, business and organizational consultation. Some of the issues include divorce/separation, infidelity, pre-marital counseling, couple and marital enrichment, couple and family communication and conflict resolution, parenting and step-parenting, infertility, sexual difficulties, and work-family balance.

Provides free individual and group counseling to residents of the Shelter and community members seeking assistance in dealing with domestic violence. Support groups, including a Women in Transition group, are offered periodically throughout the year.

Provides counseling services to people under age 18 in the areas of outpatient, substance abuse, intensive in-home, mental health supports, and clinical case management to children, adolescents,and to their families.
