Volunteer workers enhance the service delivery capabilities of the Social Services Department by offering direct, indirect, and advisory services to staff and clients. Volunteers provide such services as transportation, socialization, child care, tutoring, administrative/clerical support, tax relief counseling, commodity distribution, and employment counseling.
