Service Animals - Roanoke, Saint Francis Service Dogs
Primary service is placing service dogs with people with disabilities. Serves people with a wide range of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, brain injury, stroke, paralysis, and many other debilitating conditions. Partners with facilities to place dogs to assist in educational, healthcare, counseling, and visitation settings. While these are not service dogs and do not have public access, they work daily to assist a wide range of people to overcome their disabilities. Offers volunteer opportunities.

Provides humane society for Culpeper County that is committed to the mission of ensuring that every companion animal in the Culpeper community receives loving and responsible care. The Humane Society of Culpeper continues to find homes for abused and abandoned animals through our foster program and to offer low-cost spay/neuter services. We are also redoubling our efforts to evolve into our county's first no-kill rescue organization.

Throughout the region, citizens are prepared to assist with public health crises in the Lenowisco, Cumberland Plateau and/or Mount Rogers Health Districts.
