Provides mental health counseling to residents of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta. A sliding scale fee is available for all clients, based on the client's family income and number of dependents. Most health insurances are also accepted. Provides a recovery support. NAMI We Care Augusta supports recovery by providing hope, encouragement and support to the community, including mental health services to consumers and family members. The group also provides education regarding symptoms, current treatment and therapies, community resources and alternative approaches to mental health. Free monthly educational meetings and family support group sessions are offered. Issues of awareness of mental health issues and reducing stigma are promoted through participation in community events.
