Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is a 12-hour, 8-week recovery education course for adults living with a mental health condition. Some classes are targeted towards young adults (ages 18-32.) Valley Health Senior Structured Outpatient Program is medically supervised and tailored to meet the needs of older adults requiring behavioral health treatment and extra support is required. Most therapy sessions will be in group format,although individual and family therapy can be provided if clinically indicated. These groups are facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor and under the supervision of a board certified psychiatrist. Clinicians provide assessment, diagnosis, counseling, psychiatry crisis, peer support, and case management services. Referrals are made within RACS (such as to the psychiatrist) or to other professionals as necessary. RACS offers Emergency Services including: 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Services, Crisis Counseling, and Inpatient substance use treatment referrals; Mental/Behavioral Health Services for Adult & Children including: Case Management, Group Therapy, Individual Counseling, Intensive Care Coordination, Peer Support (Veteran/Family), Psychiatry, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and Therapeutic Day Treatment; Developmental Support Services including: Adult day support programming, Adult group homes, Early Intervention, Support Coordination; Substance Use Disorder Services including: Case Management, Group Therapy, Medication Assisted Treatment, Peer Support; and Prevention Services including: Community Coalition work, Lock and Talk - suicide prevention, Medication storage & disposal resources, school-based education programming, and trainings: Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, SafeTALK, REVIVE, Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
