The Department's Senior Adult Division is operated from the Douglass Senior Center. The programming for the senior adult is centered around the theme of fun, fitness, and fellowship. Classes are available in arts & crafts, educational areas, wellness, nutrition and other topics of interest to the senior adult. The center offers a well-equipped wellness room with professional exercise equipment, two lounges, kitchen, ceramic studio and billiards room.

Provides a Boy Scout Camp in Virginia. Camp Rock Enon is located on 860 acres in the mountains of Gore, Virginia. It is the site of the Shenandoah Area Council's year around gaming programs. Offers rock climbing, swimming, boating, shooting sports, mountain trails and much more.
Camp Kesem operates free summer camps for children who have been impacted by a parent's cancer. There are 6 chapters in Virginia, including, James Madison University, The University of Virginia, University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech University and William and Mary.
Organizes environmental stewardship programs, holds annual events including Winter Wildlife Festival and Earth Day, and seasonal classes such as kayaking, archery and hikes.
Camp Meadowlarks is a super-fun four week summer camp for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Campers experience a full roster of summer camp activities including water play, arts and crafts, music and drama, sports, games, nature study, theme days and much more. All activities are adapted to ensure that every camper experiences success and has fun!

Christian Record Services, Inc. blind camp programs began in 1967 with a single camp at Camp Kulaqua in High Springs, Florida. Partner camps are held at various locations across the United States. Since its organization, over 50,000 campers have attended these specialty camps. It is often called by our donors National Camps for Blind Children (NCBC), a name that has been associated with a bi-monthly newsletter in publication for many years.
Summer camp provides recreational, mentoring, and tutoring activities for youth during the summer months.

Neighborhood centers offer a rich variety of recreational activities including the classic games of pool, ping pong, basketball, foosball, and four-square as well as skill development in special topics, arts and cultural explorations, and academic enrichment. Neighborhood centers offer activities for all ages - After School programming, Fifty Plus programming, family meal nights, Teen Scene, summer day camps, social activities for the neighborhood, and city-wide tournaments.
