Supportive Services for Loudoun County residents who have physical disabilities, but because of age or income are not eligible for services provided by the county, state or federal governments. Provides a variety of programs and comprehensive support to those with intellectual disabilities. Services include residential and day support services through contractual agencies, respite care for persons with intellectual disabilities, and early intervention services for delayed and at risk infants 0-2 years (PACE).

Respite Services include short-term relief for primary caregivers of individuals with disabilities by trained staff of The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham. Respite is conducted in the participants' home and allows caregivers to attend to daily needs such as grocery shopping and personal doctors appointments while Direct Service Professionals care for and engage with their adult child(ren).

Serves adult men with primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disability (diagnosis must be documented as originating prior to age 18). Services offered include: 1) Residential Care with awake/overnight staff in a home-like environment; 2) In-Home/Supported Living Care; and 3) Short-term Respite Care. Applicants must have source of funding, i.e. ID Medicaid Waiver, private pay funds. Provide comprehensive support services in a Christian community setting with the goal of helping each person experience the most independent and complete life possible utilizing person-centered planning. Administration and staff are constantly monitoring information from the health department and governor's office to help guide all decisions made regarding the safety and welfare of our the children, youth, and adults in our care.

Provides assisted living services (respite care) on a short term basis to seniors needing care after surgery, a fall, an illness, during inclement weather periods or when family members are away or just need a short break or to experience assisted living on a trial basis.

These services are supplemental to the care provided by a primary caregiver or they may support an individual whose level of independence does not require a primary care provider. Each resident has a plan of care outlining support needs. This plan outlines specific outcomes expressed by the individual or evaluated as an area of need/challenge. The plan is used to help each individual progressively strengthen his/her own individual knowledge, skills and independence.

BrightSteps Homecare LLC provide in-home care services that promote independence, dignity, and comfort for seniors and individuals with health challenges. Services include personal care, companion and respite support, skilled nursing oversight, and post-hospital assistance.

Provides temporary, substitute care for people with intellectual disabilities in the place of care normally provided by the family or other caregivers. Offered in the consumer's home, the respite provider's home, or in a community respite setting. Also provided on an emergency basis when caregivers are unexpectedly hospitalized or otherwise unable to provide normal care.

Offers home care services including companions, certified nursing assistants, physical therapists, and speech therapists. Offers respite care.

Provides access to in-home care for older adults needing assistance with personal care needs.
