The OppInc One-Stop Workforce Center is part of the nationwide system of American Job Centers, which leverage public workforce dollars with other state and local funding; business resources; and foundation support to provide career development services for local workers and deliver workforce solutions to local employers. The Women's Center offer a variety of services to assist in a job search, whether seeking employment, changing career paths, re-entering the job market, or entering it for the very first time. The Women's Center also administer the Myers Briggs type indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory.

Offers over 100 programs delivered by Appalachian College of Pharmacy, James Madison University, Radford University, Region 5 Adult Education, Roanoke College, Sovah School of Health Professions, TAP This Valley Works, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia State University, Virginia Tech, and Virginia Western Community College. GED, workforce readiness, associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees; certificates and industry endorsements. Administrative offices for Project Discovery and TAP Head Start are also part of RHEC.

Provides the general public with career resources and services in order to prepare a work force that is informed, capable, and ready for work. The services available at the Career Center include internet-ready computers, resume services, cover letters and job searches, interviewing techniques, fax, phone, a copier, resource library, educational videos, newspapers, magazines, computer tutorials, and career counseling. Job seekers can also open e-mail accounts to correspond with potential employers. The Albemarle Career Center is affiliated with the Virginia Workforce System. The Center is open to the public.
