Free Clinic serving Patrick County. Services include: - Two Medical Doctors, one Family Nurse Practitioner, one Physician's Assistant and one Women's Health Nurse Practitioner provide primary care. - A Licensed Practical Nurse serve to educate the patient, assist the medical staff and perform laboratory tests. - Clinical Practitioners of Osteopathic Medicine from Virginia Tech are available each month for patients. - Dental Hygienists serve to triage critical dental issues when ordered by our physicians. - MedAssist is located at the clinic to assist patients with the costs of maintenance medications. - Staff may assist patients with applications for financial assistance for facilities outside the clinic. - Appointments with local dentists and optometrists are available when precribed by the medical staff.

Eligibility for these services may be determined by school lunch status and/or family income. Dental services are available at health department clinic or at dental trailers placed on school property.
The Andrew Rader Dental Clinic provide all types of dental care to include preventive services, routine dental treatment, emergency dental care, and referrals to specialty care not available directly in our clinic. Does not provide routine care to Retiree or Family members. Enrollment forms and booklets for the Tricare Active Duty Family Member Dental Plan may be obtained at the clinic during normal duty hours.
Licensed dental providers (dentists, dental hygienists) provide dental services including diagnostic, preventive, and restorative treatment to children in each county. Each county is equipped with a mobile dental unit which travels to county elementary and middle schools within the county providing dental services to eligible students whose parents consent to treatment.
Preventive oral health services performed by students under supervision; services include oral inspection, X-rays, oral prophylaxis, topical fluoride application, and oral health education and dental disease information, impressions for construction of study models, nutritional counseling, dental sealants, athletic mouth protectors. Clinic will serve patients who are HIV positive. STOP provides dental care for children in the STOP program. Health Education provides nutritional counseling on a selected basis.
The Dental Center at Blue Ridge Medical Center offers dental care to everyone - Accept more than 200 different insurances, including Medicaid and Tricare. A Sliding Scale discount is in place for low income individuals who otherwise may not be able to afford necessary dental care. Please call for application and appointment (which are required).
Community Health Center providing primary medical and dental services.
Certifies clients as eligible for the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Clients pay $50 per visit. The clinic provides cleaning, fillings, x-ray, extractions, and root canals. Partials and dentures available for an additional fee. Does not provide bridgework. Offers emergency appointments but there is often a waiting list.

The MHC Community Dental Clinic offers non-emergency dental services to patients who lack insurance. The fee is based on a sliding scale depending on family income. Services are provided by dental students, closely supervised by professional dentists.

Provides family dental care as well as dental care for patients with medical conditions requiring special dental services. The Department operates on a fee-for-service basis utilizing the billing and collection services of the Health Services Foundation. Services available include restorations, endodontics, crown and bridge,cosmetic dentistry, and implants. Patients at UVA who lack financial resources or who have exhausted their health insurance benefits may be eligible for assistance from UVA. Call the UVA financial assistance program at (800)523-4398 to apply for dental care assistance.
