Carriage Hill has a Memory Care program which is a separate unit within the location that is designed specifically for people with Alzheimer's and other memory-impairment disorders. The Comprehensive Memory Care program provides the full range of care and services for seniors with mid-to-early-moderate cognitive and functional impairment, and for those with moderate-to-early-severe impairment.

Provides a nursing facility and home for adults with 24 hour services. We offer Skilled Nursing Care 24/7. Special programs for Alzheimer's, Comfort Care, Respite, Hospice, Pallative, PT/OT/ST. This is a modern facility with a family atmosphere.

The Mind and Body Workshop provides innovative interventions for families who have an early diagnosis of MCI or another cognitive impairment. The workshop is a multi-session program series for both the early stage individual and care partner to participate together. Using activities that promote brain health, creative expression, movement, and well-being, the sessions help both parties adjust to and live well with memory loss.

Provides assisted living and is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Offers both private and semi-private rooms, married couples may share a room, room accommodations with private baths available, community dining area, special dietary restrictions honored, medications are available as needed, assistance available for bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping. Self-Care: Learning about and implementing research based self-care practices offers students, care receivers, and also caregivers the chance to refuel the spirit, and refresh the mind and body. Self-care is essential to the well-being of caregivers and when neglected can cause much distress and a breakdown in the ability to age in place for both the caregiver and the loved one. Ways to implement: spending time in nature, enjoying music, creative arts activities, deep breathing, engaging joy and laughter, practicing self-compassion.
