This program provides intermediate and skilled nursing home care to eligible veterans. This is a hospital based nursing home program designed for patients who have complicated medical needs. Certain veterans may qualify for long-term care based on their service connection. The Comprehensive Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (CNRC) provides a continuum of short stay and long stay inpatient services twenty-four hours a day.

Provides comprehensive nursing care ranging from a short rehabilitative stay to extended long-term care. The Recovery & Care Center is licensed to participate in both the Medicare and Medicaid programs, and is a contracted provider for most major insurances and managed care plans. The Rehab Center at Richfield provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to patients who are still recovering from surgery, injury or illness and serves as a bridge between a hospital stay and the patient's return home. The Rehab Center offers all private rooms certified for Medicare Part A and private insurance only. The Rehab Center and the Recovery & Care Center has assembled a team of caring, knowledgeable healthcare professionals. Services are coordinated and directed by a leadership team that includes the Administrator, Assistant Administrator and Director of Nursing. Services are delivered by an interdisciplinary care team composed of nursing staff, physicians, social workers, life enrichment staff, a registered dietitian, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists.
