Provides confidential sexual and reproductive health services to teens, women, and men. Services available at all five New River Health District locations include education and counseling, physical exams, pap smears, pregnancy tests, testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, PReP, and a wide range of birth control options. Implants and IUDs - are available at each of the locations and can be inserted right on-site by clinicians. Birth control injections, pills, patches, rings, diaphragms, and condoms are also available.

Carilion Clinic Adolescent and Student Health Service's mission is to help young adults stay healthy now and in the future. We serve youth ages 10-26 and offer a wide range of healthcare services including wellness visits, school, sports, and camp physicals, acute illness and minor injury treatment, immunizations, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, contraception and family planning, mental health counseling, and health educaton services.

Outpatient mental health and substance abuse programs for adults are provided at Holston Counseling Center. Services include individual and group psychotherapy, marital and family therapy, pharmacotherapy, crisis services, case management, psychiatric consultation, intensive outpatient alcohol and drug treatment. Other services offered at this site include Co-Occurring Case Management, an intensive case management services for consumers who have a major mental illness and substance abuse disorder diagnosis; Mother-Child Connection, Mother-Child Connection, an outpatient program for substance-abusing women who are pregnant or mothers with dependent children; and HOPE for Tennessee, an education/prevention service provides information on HIV/STD's and other communicable diseases, universal precautions, abstinence, teen pregnancy and provides specialty services for individuals with HIV.

Physical exam, pre-conceptual exam, condoms, birth control information, methods and counseling. Pregnancy tests are available upon request. Clinic is a Plan First provider. All services are strictly confidential.
