Maternity: comprehensive prenatal care including periodic physical exams, lab testing, assessment of weight, blood pressure and nutritional counseling.

The BabyCare program is a home-based program that fosters safe and healthy pregnancies and healthy babies by providing free education, care coordination, and support services from registered nurses to high-risk pregnant people and infants up to 24 months of age. Services Include:

• education about prenatal care, birthing, infant care, parenting and community resources.

Free child safety seats and booster seats are also available.

Resource Mothers is a program in which an outreach worker becomes a support person for pregnant and parenting teens. Any pregnant teen, 19 years or younger, is eligible for the program. These staff encourage the teens to complete education and build a future for themselves by providing parenting education, connecting teens to available resources, and teaching them about the care of a newborn/infant. They also provide car seat instruction and demonstration.

HealthSpace provides Health Education, Reproductive Health Screening, Birth Control, STI Testing and Treatment, Family Planning, and Referrals.

Staff will work with you to determine the best method(s) for you, while thinking about your overall health and wellness. Counseling is available for partners, too. Education is provided on over 7 different birth control methods, including abstinence, self-breast exam, STI prevention, and nutrition. Available services include well women exams, mammogram services, pap smear screening and follow-up/treatment of abnormal pap smears (including colposcopy if needed), pregnancy testing and counseling, diagnosis and treatment of STIs, free condoms, and emergency contraception (Plan B).

At least one child must already be enrolled in FAMIS before the family can enroll in FAMIS Select. Allows families to choose between covering their children through FAMIS or through a private or employer sponsored health plan. Dental services for children enrolled in FAMIS or FAMIS Plus are provided through the Smiles For Children program. The Smiles For Children program encourages good dental health and recommends regular check ups.
