Provides access to medical specialists at the University of Virginia's School of Medicine via technology at Wise County Health Department, upon referral by patient's local provider with prior scheduling arrangement both through the University of Virginia and the local health department. Does not include any laboratory or diagnostic coverage or medication assistance if prescribed or recommended by the telemedicine consulting provider.
Provides answers to questions about prenatal issues in both English and Spanish in a culturally appropriate manner; refers callers to local prenatal care services; sends out bilingual publications about prenatal issues.

Bradley Free Clinic refers eligible Bradley patients to local physicians who agree to provide free primary and specialty medical services to low income, uninsured residents of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas in their practice office
Specialty clinics available upon referral for children needing evaluation and follow up in orthopedics, hearing impairment, eye imbalance, neurology, cardiology, diabetes, urology, pediatric surgery, hemophilia, and cystic fibrosis.

Provides referrals to physicians for area residents. The medical staff of more than 120 physicians at Culpeper Regional Hospital (CRH) represents a wide range of specialties. To practice at CRH, physicians must meet specified criteria and pass a rigorous review procedure by the Medical Staff and Board of Trustees. An active peer review process continually monitors credentials and performance of the medical staff. The Children's Health Line is a free service that helps locate a pediatrician or pediatric specialist for families, as well as information on parenting seminars and workshops.

Links uninsured county residents to local services at discounted rates. Case Managers provide intake, eligibility screening, case management, patient satisfaction surveys, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups. The case managers are bilingual (English/Spanish.) All applications are available in both English and Spanish.
Provides physician referrals for the UVA Health System. The Patient Access Line 1-800-251-3627 also assists with requests for information about your visit including appointment scheduling or confirmation, test results, or directions to Health System facilities. There is also a special toll-free telephone number for Health Professionals only: (800)552-3723. Offers physician referral to over 350 different specialties in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. Some of the interests include: knowing more about nutrition, understanding how to live with diabetes, and learning life-saving techniques such as CPR. Information on classes and groups for all ages is available, from soccer and swim lessons for children to activities for older adults. A library of health topics is available to the public. Healthsource can provide speaker resources on many health topics for meetings, groups and organizations. The classes are offered at the Wellness Pavilion, RMH Atrium and other locations.
Certifies clients as eligible for the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Clients pay $50 per visit. The clinic provides cleaning, fillings, x-ray, extractions, and root canals. Partials and dentures available for an additional fee. Does not provide bridgework. Offers emergency appointments but there is often a waiting list.
Provides free help with health information and accessing health services for older adults.
