Provides memory assessment services for older adults. Treats many conditions that cause memory problems, including reactions to medications and vitamin deficiencies. Staff members evaluate the extent of memory loss, look for the cause and also suggest ways patients and their families can plan for the future.

Offers assisted living for seniors in a residential, homelike environment. Offers Assisted Living Plus and Memory-Impaired Assisted Living for those who require additional care, including non-ambulatory persons.

Provides a secure, licensed assistive living residence for those with Alzheimer's and other memory impairments. Includes bathing, dressing, toileting, meals and transferring into and out of wheelchairs. Offers shared and private rooms and transportation for scheduled trips and doctors appointments. Staff is specially trained in a relationship based Reminiscence program designed to create pleasant day for residents.

Carilion Clinic's Center for Healthy Aging (CCHA) offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to the complex care needs of older people. The center brings together specialized teams with geriatric expertise in assessment, medicine, psychiatry, counseling, nursing and nutrition. The CCHA is here to serve as a consultative resource to physicians, families and individuals. Our goal is to help maximize the independence and functional ability of people as they age.

Offers a specialized Alzheimer's/dementia care unit. Also offers a full service retirement community offering a continuum of care from retirement living, assisted living, dementia through nursing home care for seniors 62 years of age and older. Our Lady in Peace is a non-profit, non-denominational community sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.

Offers licensed professional counseling services for individuals, couples and families. Outpatient services are located at RMH Behavioral Health. The goal is to help clients identify goals, think through solutions and make life changes. Other services include: psychological testing, 24 hour physical emergency services, partial hospitalization, employee assistance program, nutritional therapy and grief support services. Client's efforts to maintain health and happiness. Special focus on geriatric assessment, which includes our well known Driver Advisement Program that provides a thorough check of the cognitive process involved in safely operating a motor vehicle and provide specialized assessments of dementia spectrum disorders.
