Provides memory assessment services for older adults. Treats many conditions that cause memory problems, including reactions to medications and vitamin deficiencies. Staff members evaluate the extent of memory loss, look for the cause and also suggest ways patients and their families can plan for the future.

Offers assisted living for seniors in a residential, homelike environment. Offers Assisted Living Plus and Memory-Impaired Assisted Living for those who require additional care, including non-ambulatory persons.

Offers a specialized Alzheimer's/dementia care unit. Also offers a full service retirement community offering a continuum of care from retirement living, assisted living, dementia through nursing home care for seniors 62 years of age and older. Our Lady in Peace is a non-profit, non-denominational community sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.

Carilion Clinic's Center for Healthy Aging (CCHA) offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to the complex care needs of older people. The center brings together specialized teams with geriatric expertise in assessment, medicine, psychiatry, counseling, nursing and nutrition. The CCHA is here to serve as a consultative resource to physicians, families and individuals. Our goal is to help maximize the independence and functional ability of people as they age.
