The Virginia Bleeding Disorders Program is a legislatively enacted program through the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Child and Adolescent Health, for the care and treatment of persons with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Virginia recognizes that the ongoing medical costs of treating such bleeding disorders often exceed the financial capacity of families, despite insurance coverage. The program supports a system of coordinated, family-oriented, multidisciplinary services for persons of all ages with bleeding disorders.

Services offered: * Medical services provided by a licensed physician and a licensed nurse practitioner; * Lab services on site; * Full range of X-ray services available; * Counseling services offered two days per week by a licensed clinical social worker; * Telemedicine Program (patients can talk with a specialist from the University of Virginia Medical Center via satellite); * Sliding fee scale available to patients with no insurance and who qualify; * Free medication program available to patients with no insurance and who qualify.

Provides obstetric and gynological care for women. Augusta Health Care for Women is comprised of both male and female physicians, certified nurse midwives, and a nurse practitioner. Offers offices in both Lexington and Fishersville. Each patient is managed by the individual service provider they choose, but even when a specific provider is absent, the patients are confident in all personnel because all of our medical providers address our patients with consistent service and compassion. AHC offers adult and pediatric primary care and behavioral health services. Office based opioid treatment; an outpatient therapy for those wanting to stop opioid usage. Pharmacy on-site and home delivery options available.

As an alternative to nursing facilities, InnovAge PACE provides nearly all medical care and social support at a center near your home.

PiN works with many local doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to provide basic first-aid as well as preventative medical services as part of the PiN Medical Clinic. In early 2022, we added physical therapy and tele-visits to our medical services, as well.
