Resource Mothers: A special mentoring program for first time pregnant or parenting teens. Teens will receive education about taking care of themselves and their infants up to one year of age. Teens will benefit from assistance with setting educational goals, accessing healthcare, and planning for the future care of their infant. Car Seat Program: Free, new car seats, including infant convertible seats and booster seats for older children, are available to families who qualify. Parents must attend a short instructional session to learn the correct placement and use of the car seat or booster seat.

Officers who have been trained in the proper installation of child safety seats will assist in installing a child seat.
