The Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) provides fire safety to the citizens of the Commonwealth by educating citizens and visitors about fire hazards and fire prevention techniques and identifying factors that increase risks from fire and implementing programs to reduce those risks.
Provides a Federal Agency to protect and manage 190,000 acres of National Forest land and provide recreation opportunities. In the Northwest Region of Virginia the USDA Forest Service also has offices in Harrisonburg, Natural Bridge Station and Warm Springs. Please see the web site for more details.
