Afterschool program consists of motivational life-skill workshops, guest speakers and field trips to colleges, sporting events, businesses, and exposure to culturally enriching activities. Youth perform community service through volunteering and runs the entire year.

Selected students shall show potential for success in a two or four-year college, but because of inadequate educational preparation, admission to such an institute would be difficult without the benefit of Upward Bound.

Churches, businesses, civic groups and individuals in the county collect school supplies (usually in July and August) and GRACE delivers these items to the public schools here in Greene County.
