The USCIS is responsible for the administration of immigration and naturalization adjudication functions and establishing immigration services policies and priorities. These functions include: adjudication of immigrant visa petitions; adjudication of naturalization petitions; adjudication of asylum and refugee applications; adjudications performed at the Service Centers, and all other adjudications performed by USCIS.

Processes applications and petitions of aliens to permit them to become non-immigrant students and workers, permanent residents and U.S. citizens, and to bring families into the U.S.

The Immigration Services program provides affordable legal assistance for those dealing with federal immigration authorities. Services including assistance with applying for family reunification, permanent residency or citizenship, employment authorization, special visas and more. Bilingual staff is accredited by the Department of Justice.

KCSC provides comprehensive social services to low-to-moderate income individuals and families to promote self-sufficiency and be contributing community members.

The Community Services Program is a multicultural program promoting self-sufficiency and community belonging through neighborhood educational programs and services for newly arrived and low-income Arlington County residents.
