NVFS' Youth Initiatives programs provide teenagers and young adults with the skills and resources needed to build healthier well-being - at school, at home and within their communities. This includes connections to healthy activities as well as the skills to build and maintain healthy relationships with friends and family. Providing youth with these tools helps them build brighter futures not only for themselves, but for their community as well.

Gang Prevention - Leesburg, Gang Response Intervention Team, Loudoun County Juveniles Court Unit

GRIT provides information on gang intervention and prevention programs and services. GRIT is also the point of contact for community-based educational programming, gang awareness presentations, and seminars.

Gang and Youth Violence Resources - Fairfax, Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS)

Offers 24 hour-7 days a week information and referral for community inquiries about youth violence and gang prevention resources. Serves youth, parents, teachers and other professionals. After-hours/weekend calls are answered by the Juvenile Court Intake office. To report gang activity in an emergency situation, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency police response to gang activity, call the non-emergency police number.
