A female correctional facility. Security Level 3 - Assignment Criteria: Single, multiple, & Life + sentences must have served 20 consecutive years on sentence. No disruptive behavior for at least past 24 months prior to consideration for a transfer to any less-secure facility.

Programs and services for detained youth; ensures public safety while preparing the youth to re-enter the community. Educational programs for academic credits, GED, and other educational needs provided by Norfolk Public Schools.

Provides housing for men with life-controlling issues, (for example, problems related to substance abuse, addiction-related behaviors, etc.). Men who are accepted into The Bridge Ministry's 12 to 18 month program must not have been convicted of any sexual or violent crimes. Those who abide by the rules and regulations of The Bridge Ministry program, and, in the judgment of the staff are making suitable progress, can live in the dormitory free of charge for at least 12 months at the Buckingham Campus.

Emergency support service referrals also available including resources for food, clothing, housing, transportation, ID, and financial assistance. Also offers Educational Programs (Anger Management, Substance Abuse, Motivational Enhancement Therapy), and Resume/Job Placement Services.

A male field unit correctional facility. Security Level 1 - Assignment Criteria: No Murder I or II; Sex offense, Kidnap/Abduction, Escape History. No Disruptive Behavior for at least past 24 months.

Kingsway Prison and Family Outreach is an outreach serving inmates, ex-offenders and their families. Kingsway assists with connection to find community resources for food, clothing, housing and employment for ex-offenders. Kingsway offers Correspondence Bible Studies, Encourager Pen Pals and Birthday & Holiday cards to inmates in the Virginia Correctional System.

Houses male and female inmates at the maximum, medium and minimum security levels.

Serves a coed population, males age 14 -18 and females age 11-20, who have been committed by the juvenile court. Residents placed at the facility have been convicted of crimes ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. Lengths of commitment may range from a minimum of 3-6 months to a maximum of 7 years or until the resident's 21st birthday. Residents receive educational, vocational, mental health and rehabilitative counseling services. Specialized treatment programs include substance abuse, aggression management, sex offender, and intensive therapeutic programming. Academic and vocational training is provided on campus by the Department of Correctional Education. Residents are able to earn a high school diploma or GED. Recreation, religious and volunteer programming is also provided.

Provides temporary supervised housing for persons entrusted to the Sheriff's Office's care, to meet their basic human needs, and also provide programs that will assist in helping those persons become a productive part of society upon release from the jail.

Community-based program provides and/or coordinates delivery of individual, group and family counseling, training, employment assistance and other social services for individuals arrested for minor offenses and directed to participate in educational or treatment programs in lieu of prosecution.

Security Level 3 - Assignment Criteria: Single, multiple, and Life + sentences must have served 20 consecutive years on sentence. No disruptive behavior for at least past 24 months prior to consideration for a transfer to any less-secure facility.

Pre release: Offers Employment preparation classes such as Seeking Employment classes and resume development/mock interviewing. Offers life skills classes such as fatherhood, parenting, anger management, and impact of crime. Mentoring is available to offenders in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and continues in the community for up to 12 months for customers returning to or residing in Loudoun, Fairfax, or Prince William Counties. Offers direct emergency assistance to individuals being released including transportation, clothing, and referrals for other services upon release.

A male correctional facility. Security Level 2 - Assignment Criteria: For initial assignment ONLY. No escape history within the past 5 years. Single life sentences must have reached their Parole Eligibility Date (PED). No disruptive behavior for at least past 24 months prior to consideration for a transfer to any less-secure facility.

This program is an opportunity for participants to gain knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed and thrive in the community and workplace.

Offers direct assistance, referrals and case management for emergency needs of offenders, ex-offenders and family members of incarcerated offenders, including housing, food, clothing, and other basic needs. Offers a family support group that meets twice monthly.
