Holds ex-offender monthly groups, and trainings across the New River Valley. Other assistance includes transportation, identification document costs, housing, and GED and education, and food assistance. Provides vouchers for public transportation, pays for identification costs, provides housing referrals, GED class expenses, books and financial assistance for college classes and food, and other supports are ways to solve the immediate needs of our clients.

This program provides the opportunity for those incarcerated to participate in programs while in jail and to prepare for their release from jail back into the community.

A 60-bed facility that detains juveniles ordered through the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court systems serving the cities of Danville and Martinsville and the counties of Halifax, Henry, Mecklenburg, Patrick and Pittsylvania.

This multi-service agency has become a comprehensive community-based correction agency to divert and supervise minimum-security arrestees and detainees from the Chesapeake City Jail. Agency provides Pretrial services and Community-Based Probation within Chesapeake.

Offers a six month residential program for female ex-offenders with vocational/ educational counseling; job and housing placement; and individual and group counseling. Provides an on-site support group focused on ending drug and alcohol abuse with referrals to addiction treatment programs. Outreach program provides case management for female ex-offenders not in need of residential services.

Offers a home electronic monitoring program (H.E.M.) that uses state-of-the-art Radio Frequency (RF) Monitoring to track non-violent offenders. Through a Work Release Program, participants are housed at the jail throughout their tenure on the program. Each individual is monitored and is subject to random drug testing. Provides various programs to inmates on an equal basis. Currently, program offerings include the following: Alcoholics Anonymous, Anger Management Classes, GED Classes, Substance Abuse Classes, Workforce Readiness Classes, and Various Religious Programs. Participation is voluntary.
