Provide transportation-related resources to the Greater Richmond community. From efficient toll roads that provide direct, convenient transportation to parking decks that provide short-and long-term parking solutions, the RMTA provides answers to an array of transportation needs in the community. The RMTA also owns the Diamond baseball stadium and manages the Main Street Station. The Authority provides parking for passengers at the station seeking Amtrak service in downtown Richmond.

In limited areas VPAS' can provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery store, pharmacy, and bank when no other transportation options are available. Riders must pre-register prior to transportation being provided. Advance notice is required
Provides registered paramedics and state licensed advanced EMTs are extensively trained in critical care, including pediatric and neonatal care. All drivers have been certified in an Emergency Vehicle Operating Course. Ambulances are equipped with state of the art life support technology. Ambulance services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Ambulance Services Include: *Maintaining critically ill patients during transport *Heart monitors with defibrillators *External pacer capability *Emergency medicine protocols and critical care *Ventilator transports *Basic and advanced life support units Transports patients to And from nursing homes, rest homes, hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, doctors' offices, and private homes.

Provides door-to-door transportation on a regular schedule for elderly citizens to senior centers, and for recreation and grocery shopping on a limited basis. Buses also available for charter. Provides special vehicles for wheelchair accessibility with advance notice.

VETS transportation services is a program for veterans and their spouses who are unable to transport themselves to doctors offices or pharmacies.
The Care-A-Van Program provides volunteer transportation with a handicapped accessible van for seniors age 60 or better or adults with a physical disability of any age to their health, legal and critical errand appointments.

ART - Arlington Transit is a local bus system provided by Arlington County, Virginia. ART provides cross-county service and supplements the regional Metro system by connecting neighborhoods not served by Metrobus with Metrorail. All ART buses are fully ADA accessible with wheelchair lifts or ramps and priority seating.

Mobility Options is a grant funded program providing transportation counseling, travel training, and personalized transportation for PD 16. Services may be provided to persons of any age with a physical, developmental, or intellectual disability, or persons that are sixty (60) years of age or older.
Arlington County Commuter Services provides information and services to increase the use of alternative transportation through various programs including WalkArlington, BikeArlington, Arlington Transportation Partners, The Commuter Store, CommuterDirect.com, TDM for Site Plan Development, Research, and Mobility Lab.
Provides transportation for the Town of Orange and Orange County. The Town of Orange Transit (TOOT) provides transportation within the Town of Orange. TOOT2 provides transportation from Orange to Gordonsville. Also offers a Demand-Response, curb-to-curb service within Orange County. TOOT is radio dispatched to meet special needs. The bus will come curbside to pick you up. All over town, anywhere within 3/4 mile of our route, we will provide ADA service. Our bus service is equipped with wheel chair lifts and tie downs! For Reservations, please call (540)341-3464. Rides are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations must be made at least 24-48 hours in advance.

Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) has been providing accessible public transportation to America's Historic Triangle since 1977, an area covering portions of James City County, the City of Williamsburg, and York County. WATA also operates paratransit services focusing on curb to curb transportation for persons with disabilities who are unable to use the fixed route system. WATA's fleet of accessible vehicles come fully equipped to handle wheelchairs, as well as the ability to kneel the bus, making loading and unloading passengers as comfortable as possible.
Assists Loudoun residents in forming carpools or vanpools using the Metropolitan Washington's Council of Government's RideShare Database.
Provides free transportation in the City of Staunton.
Provides a public bus transit system to Charlottesville/Albemarle communities offering standard and regular routes with fixed time schedules. All buses are wheelchair accessible. Offers reduced fare for persons age 65 and older and for persons with disabilities.
Fixed route services are available to the general public. Offers deviated fixed route bus transportation on a set route to anyone in Covington, Clifton Forge, Iron Gate and Alleghany County, Virginia. Customers must wait at the bus stop for pick up. Accessible transportation for people with functional disabilities is available upon request with a completed and approved Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Eligibility application prior to transport. Will deviate from the route up to .75 mile off of the fixed route.

In Virginia, 5-1-1 accesses traffic and weather reports for a Virginia metro area, city, county, highway, bridge or tunnel from both wireless and landline phones. 5-1-1 VIRGINIA also offers information on highway, bridge and tunnel construction; as well as on public transportation and commuter services. Transportation for medical appointment for senior's 60 years old and older.
To provide airline service to the people of Lynchburg and the Central Virginia area, as well as airport service for private and corporate owned aircraft; to provide facilities for commercial/private air transportation in Central Virginia.
Mobility management is collaboration between Encompass Community Supports and the Foothills Area Mobility System (FAMS) to assist individuals in finding suitable transportation. Our Mobility Specialists staff the One-Call center located at the Culpeper Senior Center where individuals can get more information on transportation types, find out where trolleys and busses drop off and pick up, get assistance scheduling trips and our specialists will even ride with them to help riders become more comfortable with public transportation. There is no fee for the service. The telephone number is 540-829-5300. The volunteer transportation program is also available to individuals 60 or older or people with a disability. Volunteers transport them to healthcare or legal appointments. Donations are accepted and encouraged. ACCESSIBILITY: Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
