Provides temporary rental assistance, mortgage, utilities, food, household products, prescriptions, transportation, and dental costs for individuals and families residing in New River Valley and transients who are experiencing a financial crisis who meet the eligibility guidelines · Utility payment assistance - up to $500 per year · Food, household supplies, diapers, and infant formula - monthly Assistance is available for households with incomes up to 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines (example: $52,400 for a family of four). · For Rental or mortgage payment assistance, call our Housing Crisis Hotline at 540-639-3159.

Distributes donated food to people who are in emergency situations and a diaper pantry.

Provides free pregnancy tests, free ultra sounds (up to 12 weeks), maternity clothes, baby clothes, baby furniture and other baby items. Pro-life counseling and other services available as needed. Earn While You Learn Program offers parenting education classes. All services are free and confidential.

Provides no cost pregnancy tests, options education including abortion, parenting, & adoption; birth control and emergency contraception information; limited medical services including ultrasound, STI/STD testing & treatment; post-abortion support; pregnancy and parenting education and support to women and men in unexpected pregnancies, regardless of background, beliefs or situation. Appointments can be made at lifespringva.org/contact/. Walk-ins are welcome. Maternity clothing is available at the Downtown Charlottesville location. All baby items can easily be earned through our parenting enrichment program, Parent University.

Clients can receive emergency supplies of one dozen diapers, formula and baby food every 30 days when available.
