This is a satellite office. Services include I & R, Advocacy, Peer Counseling, Independent Living Skills Training, Nursing Home and Youth Transition Services. Equipment for hearing impaired such as telephones, doorbells, pocket talkers, etc. Asistance for obtaining eyeglasses.

Provide Home-Based Services, Casey Life Skills, and Life Skills Coaching resources to disadvantaged youth and young adults with a focus on unaccompanied, court-involved foster care and homeless youth age 13-21.

Bridgewater Village is the independent living section of Bridgewater Retirement Community. Providing supportive services to seniors 55 and above.

PRS Recovery Academy provides a curriculum-based day program that promotes movement out of PRS' facility-based programming and into meaningful community alternatives such as work, volunteering and school. Mental Health Skill-Building Services provides individuals with an opportunity to work one-on-one with a mental health provider in development of goals and objectives for the following trainings and reinforcements: independent living skills - taking care of the home, personal hygiene and belongings paying bills and budgeting money keeping important medical and psychiatric appointments medication management coping skills for mental illness diagnosis accessing community resources (e.g., health, food, educational, vocational, recreational), socialization opportunities and social skills

Lynchburg Area Center for Independent Living promote a philosophy of consumer (ie people with disabilities) control, peer support, self-help, self-determination, equal access, and individual and system advocacy, to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, productivity of individuals with significant disabilities into the mainstream of American society.

Merica House is home to individuals with a variety of severe physical disabilities.

Offers youth, ages 17-21, an opportunity to live in an apartment setting and begin to learn the skills necessary to transition to adulthood. The Independent Living program provides individual and group training opportunities to help youth develop practical life skills and achieve educational and employment goals. Nonresidential Independent Living Skill Training is also available on an individual and group basis for youth not placed in our program.

DBVI provides services and resources which empower individuals who are blind, vision impaired or deafblind to achieve their desired levels of employment, education, and personal independence. Services are provided through 4 main programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Teaching and Independent Living, Low Vision Services and Education Services. Most services are provided in the person's home, school, or workplace. Referrals are accepted from individuals, families, schools, doctors, and other community partners.

Mental Health Skill-building is available for individuals ages 18 and older with severe mental illness. Some of the areas this service assists with include symptom management, medication management, 24/7 crisis management, activities of daily living, independent living skills, health and safety, interpersonal skills, and appointment compliance.

JSSA offers a variety of workshops and support groups for individuals struggling with social, emotional, and physical challenges. These programs include life skills workshops, social skills groups, and bereavement support groups.
