Provides critical home repair services to low-to-moderate income homeowners in Franklin County. The purpose is to help homeowners alleviate health and safety issues in and around their home. Eligible repairs include small roof repairs, handicap accessibility, window and door replacement, sidewalk and exterior stair repair, siding repair, electrical, plumbing and water supply and septic systems.

Typically, we assist with roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electric, hot water, well, and septic. We may be able to assist on other repairs as funding and labor are available, and dependent upon the number of ongoing repairs in the community.

Habitat for Humanity partners with low-income homeowners who live in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park to make exterior and interior home repairs that alleviate critical health, life and safety issues or housing code violations. From minor exterior repairs to critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and weatherization.

Evaluate and weatherize homes. Weatherization services can include insulation, weather-stripping and caulking; water-heater blankets; window and door repair or replacement; inefficient refrigerator replacement; and heating and cooling systems repair or replacement. All energy efficiency measures are determined by an initial home energy audit.

Assists low-income families and individuals to remove imminent health and safety hazards from their homes. Acceptable repairs include the repair of roofs, floors, building of ramps and porches, heating system repair and structural repair. Funds are limited to $4000 per client; client must pay remainder of repair work and client is responsible for getting three bids from licensed contractors. These funds are provided by a very limited Essential Home Accessibility and Repair Program (EHARP) grant.

Offers minor home repairs for people with low incomes.

Provides mobility products for the elderly and disabled. Products include lift chairs, stair lifts, porch lists, wheelchairs, scooters, ramps and wheelchair accessible vans. All products for rent or lease. Provides financial assistance to purchase vans, scooters and new and used vehicles that are handicapped accessible. Offers a wide range of products including Lifts, Scooters and Portable Ramps and has a fully trained service staff specializing in van conversions.

Program serves homeowners with repairs to roof, electric, HVAC, plumbing, well and septic. Funds from Federal and State grants will help qualified low-income homeowners by paying for a portion of the repairs. The balance is then paid back with low interest loans and affordable monthly payments.

Provides weatherization for low-income families, seniors and individuals with disabilities. CHP's Weatherization program reduces energy costs for low-income families, elderly adults and the disabled by improving the efficiency of their homes, while also assessing and eliminating related health and safety issues. Provides urgent and major home repairs to prevent homeowners from injury.Addressing issues of deferred maintenance contributing to a home's deterioration, diminished functionality, or loss of value,Restoring or improving the safety or security of the home,The total value of the repair must be no more than $5000.

The Loudoun County Home Improvement Program is available countywide to low and moderate income homeowners and renters who want to rehabilitate their primary residences. The program can also provide emergency repairs and accessibility improvements for very low-income elderly and persons with disabilities.

Aging-in-Place program performs home repairs which enable senior citizen (65+) homeowners to remain safely in their homes.

Involved in facilitating and participating in various construction projects. Projects range from new church construction to repairing homes of persons in need by roofing, painting, installing wheelchair ramps, performing maintenance, yard work, and cutting wood.

Weatherization provide will provide necessary home needs to make energy saving a priority.

This program provides goods or services to eligible families in Greene County.

Provide home insulation and other energy conservation service to reduce fuel consumption and provide heating and cooling protection. Weatherization includes and is not limited to: Sealing air leaks with insulation,caulking,and weather-stripping. Installation of ventilation fans. Repairing drafty duct systems Repairing and replacing inefficient or unsafe heating cooling systems Installation of energy efficient lighting

Rehabilitates homes for low to moderate income families within the county of Nelson. Also have an Emergency Home Repair Program for the Elderly and Disabled. Repairs including major systems such as septic repairs, roofs, ramps, bathroom repairs and modifications, deck replacements, and heating and air conditioning installation and repairs. We DO NOT DO cosmetic repairs such as painting unless it is part of a larger project. DO NOT repair sheds or do landscaping.
