This includes people who need short-term assistance while recovering from an illness, surgery, or hospital stay, and those with long-term needs. Each meal is tailored to meet the dietary needs of the recipients under the guidance of a registered dietitian. Home Delivered Food and Groceries - Alexandria, ALIVE!

ALIVE! delivers food Monday - Friday afternoons to the doorsteps of those who are unable to attend emergency food distributions. Home deliveries are available to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and single parents with very young children, by referral from a case worker or ALIVE! member congregation. Clients may receive once monthly groceries: 3-5 days of shelf-stable food, meat, milk, fresh bread, eggs, and produce.

Their meals meet strict nutritional requirements. At this time, there are no nutritional standards for Radford Fairlawn Daily Bread meals. Program uses volunteers.
