Eight senior sites offer active adults 60 or older a friendly and fun place to gather for exercise, nutrition, health programs, and health screenings. Participants can also learn a craft and enjoy a nutritious lunch. Participants may be eligible for transportation assistance to the site. Sites are located in the following areas: Grundy; Tazewell;Dante; Clinchco; Pocahontas; Swords Creek; Clintwood; Richlands.

Provides a free lunch, 11:30AM - 12:00PM served at the Second Presbyterian Church every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for area residents. This is an ecumenical effort supported by many other area churches. Also serves a brunch on Saturdays, from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Christ Tabernacle Church of God (489 North Winchester Ave). Meetings include educational presentations and discussions, health screenings, adapted exercise sessions, recreational activities, artistic and cultural programming, and social events. Van transportation is provided for participants needing assistance traveling to and from the site or its events, as well as for occasional group trips to grocery stores, pharmacies, and local shopping. As part of CVACL's "wraparound" services, each site member is assigned a Care Manager to provide needs assessments, referrals, and follow-up.

A public school system which offers special education, vocational and continuing education, and General Education Degree (GED) programs.

Provides socialization over a noon meal at dining center, while offering a variety of recreational, cultural, health, and social activities based on the interests of members age 60 years or older.
